Recently diagnosed Type-2. A shock to the system.

Well where do i start? About six months ago i started to get pins and needles sporadically in my right foot. I thought this may have possibly been a pinched nerve, but eventually received the bad news I had Type-2 diabetes. Now this came as a shock as i am far from overweight (well maybe 5kg), i am only 38, i exercise regularly, and all other blood tests came back perfect. Now the long journey begins with testing, and meds etc not to mention an overhaul of my diet.
