    Hi there,

It’s nearly been nine months and I still can’t say no to FOOD!! Exercise is a big fail, I need to find the motivation I need and fast!

Hi there – it is totally normal to feel like this! It is a human thing. Often we struggle with motivation. What kinds of things have you tried to increase your motivation? And do you try to build exercise into your day? I also find it hard to get motivated to exercise the older I get and the more I have to do = the more tired I am at the end of the day!

What foods are you trying to say no to in particular?

    bye for now

    Helen

    Hi Helen,

    It’s BitterSweet1.0 new and improved! Lol :)
I’m just going to reply to my previous post but the difference is now is that I’m not a tortured soul anymore and I’m not as isolated. Right now, I’m in a good place and my nutrition is okay. I stopped doing exercise regularly and not it’s hard for me to start again at the level I was before. I get very easily tired and afterwards my body is just so drained of all energy. I love eating take-away, fast food and everything that makes life more enjoyable. I use to love eating hot chips but not I try to avoid it as much as possible because of the guilt and I know that you can’t just have one.

My motivation right now to eat healthy is so I can lose weight faster. I know it’s a negative reason and that eventually I will have to do it out of love for myself. Upside is that my nutrition has improved, I’m slowly losing the weight (1kg a week) but my body is changing and I don’t like it. People who have lost weight will know and probably feel the same way also ( the flabby skin). But my desire to lose as much weight as I can out weighs my superficial insecurities.
