Good Morning everyone!
I have recently created a research panel for individuals with diabetes and other serious conditions.
It is a research panel in order to help improve medications and treatment through the experience of others.
We are looking for individuals who would be willing to participate in research sessions such as In depth Interviews, Group Discussions and surveys.
By participating in such research you are contributing to the evolution and progression of medication and treatments worldwide.
I understand that people’s time is extremely valuable, that is why we have created a system where you get paid for everything you participate in. We will send you short screener surveys to make sure the research session applies to you. You will get paid for participating in the screener weather you qualify for our research or not. Once you have qualified you will be paid much larger incentive amounts. Often we will pay people $100 for participating in a 1 hour interview.
At this stage I am putting the idea out there to see if people would be interested in joining and participating in the research.
If this is something that you think you may be interested in, please give me a shout as I would love your feedback, and am happy to answer any questions you may have.
It is a definitely a great way to provide support for your community whilst earning some extra cash on the side. 🙂
February 20, 2013 at 3:25 pm #6212I’m interested.
But I’m based in Adelaide, hoping that doesn’t present a problem.

February 20, 2013 at 3:57 pm #6218Hi There Red,
Thank You for your response.
Living in Adelaide is fine as it is an Australia wide Panel.
Many of the projects you may participate in are online surveys. Sometimes we will conduct research in Adelaide city also.
The website is up and running however there are a few final things we need to do before we can start inviting people to join.
Do you think programs like this are something you would tell your community about?
We conduct research purely based on medication, therefore we need individuals who suffer or once suffered from certain conditions, therefore the ‘recruitment’ process must be specific. For research quality purposes I think Word of Mouth is the best way to get people involved.
Do you think this is something people with Diabetes would be interested in supporting?
Thanks for your feedback Red

February 21, 2013 at 9:21 am #6236Hi Tilly
we do not promote research here without proper ethics and information that is transparent about the study/ie. Is this a pharmaceutical based research panel?
Where are you from and what is the group?
We need a lot more information before consideration of promoting this and if we feel it is not ethical or relevant will have to delete this post as well as this is a support forum, not a place for advertisements
cheers
Helen
