    True, the evidence we have is that 30 minutes of exercise will assist your insulin to work better and therefore lower you BGL.

    However, your muscles need glucose to function. When the msucles are low in stored glucose they will send a signal to the liver to release glucose into the blood and send it to ‘refuel’ the muscles.

    If you happen to measure your BGL whilst this glucose is in transit, your BGL at that moment may be higher than when you started exercsing.
