Diabeadies® by Vivi – World Diabetes Day Blue Circle Range
Diabeadies® by Vivi are a range of bracelets custom made by one of our founding members, Vivienne McKenna. Made to mark World diabetes Day in 2014, we call this our “Blue Circle Range”The range comprises:

- Aquamarine double row stretch bracelet, with rhinestone highlights

The name Aquamarine comes from the Latin aqua marinus, meaning “water of the sea,” and refers to its sparkling ocean-like colour. Aquamarine evokes the purity of crystalline waters, and the exhilaration and relaxation of the sea. Considered by many to be calming, soothing and cleansing, inspiring truth, trust and letting go. In ancient lore, Aquamarine was believed to be the treasure of mermaids, and was used by sailors as a talisman of good luck, fearlessness and protection. It was also considered a stone of eternal youth and happiness. It is said by some that Aquamarine encourages the ideal of service to the world and to the development of a humanity attuned to healing. Thought to emit a gentle and compassionate energy, promoting moderation and responsibility for ones’ actions and to inspire judgmental people to be more tolerant, and help those overwhelmed by responsibility to find order.
