I spent the day at the Wiggles concert in Hobart, with my husband and two kids. We had a ball! When they turned the lights down to sing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and wave things that glowed, I waved my pump!!

I spent the day playing with my baby Maxwell, not knowing that night I was to get a BGL of 30 mmol at midnight and another gastro!! A great World Diabetes Day gift!!

We went out for a picnic ~ bbq., on the day down through new norfolk and the hops and [legal] opium poppy fields ~ such a pretty sight down here in tasmania after years of drought ~ everything was lovely and green… even though it was cool… we bbq’d a couple of chops which we had with a lovely green salad and a couple of new potatoes..  lovely fresh local apples to follow..  a day to remember…  my husband is an american and is still surprised by the beauty of our lovely country….

I went to my son’s first swimming lesson at 6 months old and he loved it! He is my greatest achievement.

I spent world diabetes day at the beach cooling down with my friend Helen in Kingston which is in the South east of South Australia.
